Does anyone know what would cause both carbon petals of a reed valve to implode? Bike is a 2003 Zuma with a BBK, exhaust, and 17.5mm carb and stock air box/snorkel removed. I was decelerating and heard a loud pop and the bike died and refused to start. Both petals of the Polini Evolution reed cage are gone (I'm assuming they are inside the engine). This is the reason that my scoot has been sitting for so long. Just looking for some input as to what might have caused it, because that's a new one for me
