Hi guys, there is a cheep E-Ton Beamer for 100$ where I am and I was curious to know if a 2005 Yamaha Zuma head/cylinder would fit on the E-Ton. Thank!

The cylinder should fit not sure about the piston. The zuma has a 10mm piston pin the Eton i don't remember if they are 10 or 12mm pin. A $100 Eton is begging for a 70cc sport kit.

The Eton is a 10 mm wrist pin Just like the zuma The aftermarket cylinders do fit I had to dremel off a small bit off a cooling fin for it to sit flush I believe it was the oil pump that I had to remove a tiny bit off the rim for

You could use your zuma cylinder The exhaust port on both the zuma and the Eton are restricted
I would just get a 70 cc and let her rip
On the Eton the other restriction besides exhaust port is the crappy exhaust pipe And a restricted cdi the cdi you can make unrestricted by cutting a wire on the back of it
I have done it myself this will let it rev above 8k rpm’s

To dereatrict there is a green wire you cut on the back of the cdi It is referenced in the Eton service manual page 61

Made night and day difference. I road a Beemer with cast iron 70cc kit, a gear up kit and stock pipe and carb with a rejet. Thing pulled strong, was fast and fun. And this was with a poor tune on the cvt. Clutch wasn't right and the roller weight was too light. Still it was great. Gears really help. I like 10:1 but minds smarter than me claim that 11 or 12:1 is the sweet spot. I tend to believe them but the 10:1 gears in a stock 50 i like better than the 13:1 and deeper. The early zuma 05 and older I think was 14 something to 1 and the gears are the first thing I would do to one of them

Thanks for all the helpful information here. I just picked up a 2004 Beamer. After derestricting the CDI box, it will reach 40mph. The 70cc sport kit is probably what I’m looking into for a bit more power and top end.
What do I need to do to help it climb hills better?

The 70cc kit will give you more power top end and hill climbing
A variator kit properly balanced would marginally help with hill climbing and possibly give you a couple more mph

Thank you Zino. Looking into the 70cc kit for the beamer.
