You could put a head gasket over the cylinder head. Just to make sure the damage is outside the sealing surface. To check the reeds. Undo the carb from the intake. If you then undo the intake bolts, the reeds are underneath. You should be able to look down them while holding them up to a light. No light should come through. And the reeds should be flat against the surface.

yeah the damage is mostly where the head gasket goes, but the one dent where the carbon build up is wasn’t covered by the gasket, i could show you the previous cylinder if it helps (it’s in very bad condition) this is the reed right? i dont have the screwdriver for this right now so im either gonna borrow it from someone tomorrow or buy it from a store, is there a way to check without opening it?

ok i’m starting to realise that, these metal rods are what broke my previous cylinder, where did they come from? because one of them is stuck to my previous cylinder and one grazed through it and a few more fell out when i dismantled that cylinder i think 2 felt out

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. But all that metal debris in the reeds and the pin. I wouldn't try and run this bike without a full engine rebuild first. There has to have been a major failure. There has got to be debris in the bottom end, and perhaps the crank as well. You are just going to get an engine failure trying to run a new cylinder as it is now.

please help, what should i do, i heard that weird rattling noise before the engine broke down by a 100kms and i told a mechanic about it and he said it’s nothing, but the noise was so loud at higher speeds and specially when decelerating and then one day i was slowing down from 60kmh and boom engine shutdown. i knew something was wrong.
what do you think broke? and should i disassemble the bottom end completely? and inspect the crank?

I really wish you were closer. Then i could help you. I The parts to rebuild it are not so much. It's the time and labour costs if you have to pay someone. That make it not worth it. Do you have the tools to strip an engine? Or know someone who could help?

Or know someone who could help? that’s very kind of you, sadly i live really far (hungary) no way im letting another mechanic touch anything i own ever again 🤦🏽♂️, so ill probably do it and about the tools, i have the basics, a torque wrench (without measurements sadly) and wrench’s and screwdrivers and clippers and that’s about it what do you think broke though and what could’ve caused this

It's either pins from the crank or small end bearing I would think. Poor lubrication, running lean, or just miles on the scoot could all a possibility. If you want to try rebuilding it yourself we will try and guide you through it. These little engines are not so bad to work on if you take your time and are careful.

These little engines are not so bad to work on if you take your time and are careful. i will check the crank soon maybe tomorrow and i think it could be the bearing because it wasn’t there when i disassembled the cylinder so it either broke or the mechanic didnt install it and for miles it ran 3000 km from the broken cylinder which is very bad in my opinion and in total it’s 13,000 km and i had to go through 5 cylinders in total and all broke cuz of mechanics. the engine always has oil and i think it was running good, judging from the spark plug so i hope its the bearing that broke and i also realised the carb didnt have a jet at all so idk if thats a factor and idk how long it was missing for. thank you so much for ur help

I think you have been really treated badly by mechanics. Or they were just incompetent. You are right to be sceptical of their ability to fix it.
