We have a problem with our genuine rough house scooter. It’s got a 70 cc rebuild. Actually we have two of them. One runs just fine. This one will run for a little while just fine and then gradually lose power till you can’t even get it to go 10 miles an hour, and then maybe if you stop for a few minutes and start again it’ll run for a while. we change the spark plug and it ran for a while and then the same behavior.

Is it still getting a good fuel supply? If you take the plug out, is it wet? Has it ever run properly with the big bore kit?

I’ll check on the spark plug, but yes, it did run fine with the kit. We have an identical Scooter that has the identical kitten. It continues to run fine. Thousands of miles on both of them. But last year this crazy loss of power started unexpectedly on a ride with the one. we are snowbirds so we put it in storage for the winter and when we came back, decided to try it again and no, it hadn’t healed itself ha ha
