2 stroke scooter problem
Hello everyone, I have a CPI Oliver (Taiwanese Minarelli horizontal 50cc 2-stroke scooter), and I also have the problem that I can only ride the bike without the air filter box, I ride straight on the carburetor. I've been riding for a year without an air filter and so far the piston has never seized, but it drinks a LOT of gas and also makes a lot of noise. When I connect the air filter box, the bike simply idles, but as soon as I give it the throttle, it stalls. I've seen somewhere that I need a smaller main jet, because when I take the air filter off it's as if I have a smaller jet, and so for the bike to work properly I need a smaller jet to achieve a balance between air intake and gasoline intake. I'm asking for help from anyone who understands what I'm saying and for tips on how to solve this problem and correct me if I'm wrong.

It's a dangerous gamble running a two stroke without an air box. Has it ever run with the air box before? Has it been modified in any way? What does the plug look like?
