Oil Pump Adjustment for 70cc Sport Cylinder (Malossi)

Hey guys, long time no see!

I've been working on a CPI Aragon lately and I need some clarification regarding adjusting the pump for a sport kit. I read the post in the tech section, and the top post says to align the marks at idle, and the lower post for the Polaris says to let it rest on the stop at idle. I also came across a post that said the marks should align at full throttle. So, I'm confused as to which one to believe!

And no, I will not be removing this pump, I plan on selling it and it would be easier to do so if the convenience of the pump is there.

I guess that where it lines up now should be fine. different manufacturers use different methods of timing the pump operation.
You shouldn't need to remove the pump to fit a cylinder.
In the big bore installation guide, Brent mentioned turning the adjuster 3-4 turns out from where it's set for more oil.
Our Minarelli engines don't have an adjustable pump. I've never had a problem running a sports kit just using good quality oil.

i just run the pumps as is for the scoots I build up .
the pumps have kept up fine all the way to 11k rpms

I came to the conclusion that lining up the marks at idle made the most sense. I tried adjusting to the line at full throttle but the adjuster would'nt just let me do that, and the other way would'nt either. Lining up the marks was comfortably within adjustment, so I put it about a line width higher to get a bit more oil.
The reason I went down this path is that holding the throttle wide open for too long I would suddenly lose power, but not clear if it was a soft seize or a fueling issue. I checked the piston for any scoring but there isnt any, so I am leaning towards fuel issue since the carb I have isnt the greatest, and ive adjusted the float/changed jets etc. multiple times. I guess I'll have to rehab an older carb I know is good quality, just need to replace the hardened rubber parts.
