Hello scooter squad,
I am partway through a top-end install and am riding the learning bus hard. I was able to locate the ring gap calculator but I still need to figure out the oil gaps. Is there a rule of thumb? (Aside from spacing them radially)

Hopefully you will be able to view the attached picture which shows the spacing. I just put a 72cc bbk on my.maddog.

According to the Naraku seller, the 52.4 kit comes pre-gapped so there is no need to measure gap width or squish clearance when used with a SSP-G Stroker.
I don't know enough about the thermodynamics of "racing" top-ends, but these rings came tighter than the calculators recommended. I gapped the ends with sandpaper (just the compression rings); hopefully, I don't regret that.
I'm hard-pressed not to check the squish, though, now that I know there was already a discrepancy.

If you are increasing the stroke I would definitely check the squish band before firing it up.
