So earlier this week I dropped scooter off at a shop to be fixed since it's issues began getting too complicated for my skill level.what I was told was so disappointing. They told me that they don't even know what's wrong with it only way tech would feel comfortable doing work on it was if he tore it down made it stock again then worked on performance from there. The previous owner had so many mismatched parts replaced & they can't determine even who makes parts. They didn't charge me thankfully to have it looked at but now it's back home outta commission & I have no fun ride. I was foolish to have bought it & in same sense the guy who sold it to me most likely knew it was only matter of time b4 it went so fixed it enuf to sell it to a chump like me. I feel like the scumbags in this world are starting to outweigh the honest people when it comes to selling stuff online or in classifieds. I'm not sure where to go from here but doing my homework for next time & not being so nieve. I can't afford a new scooter or bike and have terrible credit. How shud I sell this in order to make sum $ back?

Don't get discouraged so easy. Don't really understand why the shop would say mismatched parts and try to put back to stock. Scooter are not like a bike in terms of parts and stock parts are usually not available since there really isn't a manufacturer. 1 factory in China makes Scooter for a lot of different so called makes and models. Just different brands, or off brand names, so the name of the scooter on the plastic side panels means nothing.
Search parts by your engine and what you want to replace. Scooter have a learning curve but very simple basic machine. Bare bones to say.
Start with what you know is wrong and acquire good working parts to replace what you already know are bad.
