My Peugeot Pox build fitted with Honda Innova wheels does not have a speedo drive as they were electronic. Do the GPS ones sold all over the place need to be connected via Bluetooth or anything or do they come with there own whatever it is build in. Bit more complicated than my Philips tape recorder where my technology skills end.

There are electronic speedometers available that operate with a magnet on a wheel and sensor mounted on the frame somewhere. Some could even use optical sensors. They can be calibrated to some number of impulses or revolutions per mile or km. They could be accurate as needed. I believe there are different types of displays available. I have seen many on ebay or amazon.
p.s. I don't believe they can catch the Pox...

Most will have a small GPS antenna connected that just needs a power supply. Keyed 12 volts is plugged in and it doesn't need wifi or anything. You can mount the antenna pretty much anywhere. On the Ruckus maddog type, even with the antenna in the battery box covered it still works.
Gauge mount will have to most likely be a custom design. Not too flimsy so it vibrates and shakes at speed, really annoying trying to read speed when it is vibration and shaking all over.

Delboy did one for one of his builds on YouTube. I think he didn't use it later on as it's supposed to have a miles reading as well.
So many different versions to choose from. I would probably just get a cheap digital one an use a disc bolt for the speed sensor pickup.
