Here is a pic of my plug at 1100 miles on this 150cc GY6. Looks really good to me so I didn't change it. All I've done to this engine in change the main jet from 104 to 110. Gave me better acceleration and a few more mph's at top end.

Looks fine to me. Using unleaded fuel, spark plugs can last a loooonnnngggg time before electrode wear and deposits cause need for replacement. It does not look as if it is running rich, nor are there oily deposits. I would keep on using it. tom

As a kid, i bought a new Honda Hobbit, PA50. The owner's manual recommended a 500 mile plug interval. Boy, they weren't kidding. Even though it looked fine, at 500 miles it was not performing anywhere near top form. Swapping to a new one made a huge difference. It was noticeable as the bike only went 20mph, lol.

Re: Honda Hobbit PA50 plug life Must have had something to do with being a 2T... Break in may have caused extra deposits on the ceramic, leading to a partial path for the spark to leak away. That would cause misfire, perhaps not noticeable at higher rpms, and maybe not showing at lower... tom
