Possible crank noise after installing mhr rep cylinder kit

I just got done installing my mhr rep cylinder kit on my GP1 with lc piaggio motor. Squish was set to .8mm and port floors are nice and even with the top of the piston at BDC. When I fired it up for the first time I feel like I'm hearing a ticking noise possibly from the crankshaft. The motor only has 1200 miles on it. I don't think I had this noise with the factory cylinder. Of course the compression is higher now.
