Hello guys, I recently bought JDM style headset for my Yamaha Jog 96' and all of the connectors had to be changed on turn signals and a speedometer, speedometer is set up the right way based on the cable colors on the connector but when I tried to wire the connectors for the turn signals they stopped flickering just turned on and I don't know what could it be? Is there a relay for the turn signals to flicker or are they connected to the speedometer in someway and it flicker because of that.

There should be a little box, the flasher unit that turns the lights on and off. It's usually located near the front of the scooter. You should be able to trace the wires and find it.

So I found the relay and I don't think its working because it just clicks once when I turn on the signals but I found out there was an alarm system installed a long time ago and I don't think it comes with the scooter. So there was this little speaker connected to the relay and I don't really know why. I had to cut the speaker off because it was glued to the front plastic and now I got two wires coming out of the relay that are not connected to anything but they do make a spark when I touch them to the frame of the scooter but nothing happens if I connect them two together any idea what should I do and what are all of the wires connected from the relay? There's in total 4 wires coming from the relay, I will upload some pictures so I you show u guys.   |
