Newby here, new to scooters. I’m looking into a problem for a friend. 2018 Ice Bear trike, 50cc, all stock. Cranks well, but dripping fuel from what I would guess to be overflow or similar. Fuel visible in the filter. Engine never fires. I think the vacuum petcock is working. Kill switch is on run. Brake is applied. I don’t see or know where the float bowl drain screw is located. Any thoughts? Thanks

My best guess would be a loose float bowl screw. Often is on the bottom of the carburetor.
If not here, try to trace back where the gas comes from, if it is from a hose you might need to tighten the hose clamp (get a new one if missing) or in worst case replace the hose.
Additional question; Is the filter that you are talking about the fuel filter or air filter?

Fuel is coming from a rubber line connected to a port on the bottom of the carb. The other end of this hose is secured to the lower part of the crankcase. The fuel filter is between the tank and vacuum petcock.

If coming from towards carburator; broken/loose hose
If coming from other end of hose; float issue

If coming from other end of hose; float issueYes, I would agree. I can see adjacent to the fuel drain hose on the bottom of the carb, is a spot where a drain screw could be, but doesn’t have one.

Most likely the float, or debris stopping the needle from fully closing.

If coming from other end of hose; float issueI removed the carb. It doesn’t appear as though it is serviceable. The float bowl cover has something like rivets instead of screws. I sprayed cleaner as I could and followed with air. After reassembly, still same issue. I guess the needle is stuck closed?

You can drill the screw out of the carb. They have anti tamper heads that snap off when installed. Then fit normal screws.
