Aloha,
Hitting a road block on next steps to get my 2005 zuma running again. It was running okay when I decided to dial it in more. Some hills it simply wouldn't go anymore so I first took the carb off and cleaned it. Next I changes the stock variator and clutch to naraku. Those two upgrades helped tremendously. While cleaning the carb, I checked the reed valve and found it was gapped and letting tons of fuel through so I replaced that. New plug, cleaned air filter and sealed oil sensor as well. After all the maintenance and some upgrades it won't turn over now! Spark plug is sparkling. Vacuum lines seem decent and when I kick it, gas Comes out of the gas line. I also replaced the autocock which also appears to work fine. One thought I have is I'm wondering if I flooded the engine by trying to start it so many times while throttling. I have it airing out tonight with the plug out. If you all have any suggestions, id be willing to try anything so I can get back on the bike!
Mahalo.
