Hey guys I've got a 96 Yamaha Jog and wanted to do a shut off valve on fuel line but there is 2 fuel lines coming into a carburetor and idk why? Here's a pic of them from a carburetor sketch

The one on the left side of the drawing is your vacuum pulse supply to the petcock and the right is your fuel inlet.

So if I delete this petcock and put a shut of valve it should work right? i just got to block off the vacuum line?

So if I delete this petcock and put a shut of valve it should work right? i just got to block off the vacuum line?run a hose from the tank to the carb and try it. make sure you have fuel flowing RIGHT AT the carb. blocking off vacuum lines should be easy. the worst thing that can happen is it doesn't run.
