Just replaced DC wiring system to brand new AC- wiring system- still getting weak.Voltage output- 43v ignitor- .134v pulse- shld see 50v an .5v- Q.-Does a rotor that power DC- power a AC wiring system- or do I need to but new rotor- Heard about remagnitze the rotor by freezing in freezer- an to put a stonger magnet to it to refresh-

AFAIK, the STARTOR and FLYWHEEL combine rotation to produce several voltages and signals. AC out for the charging/battery/headlights AC out to operate the CDI if you have an AC powered CDI. AC or DC signal to the CDI to signal the coil to fire the spark plug. The charging on 138QMB(maybe what you have??) is sent via two wires - one to the REG/REC to produce rectified and regulated DC to the cluster and bulbs and battery charge - one to the REG/REC to produce a choppy AC that is regulated to not burn up the headlight.
