Exhaust noise. What does it do when out on the road? I suspect it may have something to do with high rpm, possibly a rev limiter? Not a 2T expert by ANY means. tom

Thanks for the quick reply. It is a 4 stroke taotao 50 actually with a 72cc big bore kit.. No Rev limiter. On the road it makes a bad rumbling noise and slowing me down . when I get to 40 or just moving at all sometimes like the belt getting stuck. I will get a better video of the noise and riding possibly. It thought it was belt slapping but not sure. I know bikes pretty well just can't figure this out definitely not safe to be riding. Thanks for any help you can give.

I re-played the clip a few times. Note that the CVT is not shifting to its highest gear. I still cannot pick the noise from the exhaust note. tom

I am way too old to view age restricted clips on YouTube. I have found many high RPM noises to be air leaks INTO the exhaust which cause small explosions with unburned fuel in the muffler and pipes.

Frankenmech, same here. It is not worth 2 hours of my time to untangle UTubes problem.

Here is another video of the noise. The exhaust is only 6 months old. It makes bog a bit and slow down like belt getting stuck or something. My setup is for acceleration.
