Hello, I bought a 2002 Yamaha Vino a couple months back and it wasn’t running smooth all the time and had some nasty exhaust so I took apart the carb to clean it. Discovered that the float was messed up so I ordered a new carb and installed it. Couldn’t get it to start after replacing the carb, so I replaced the spark plug and battery. I got it to turn over but it was running rough and putting out thick exhaust. I started it again but it would just shut off after a few seconds. Now it won’t even turn over at all and slowly cranks. I’ve checked every thing I can think of. I can’t figure out what could be causing this. Any help would be greatly appreciated

2 stroke exhausts can build up oil over time. I'd suggest trying to clean it out. you can do this by putting it over a fire and getting it up to temp to burn while you watch flames come out. Or you could heat it up with a blowtorch. Grill or oven cleaner sprayed into it can also work.
after taking the exhaust off, you could try to start it and see what happens.
I usually have to shake chunks out afterwards while blowing air through.
And charge the battery.
