Installing a polini cp 19 onto my vino. There is an oil line running to the stock carb but I'm not sure what to do with it on the polini.
I was thinking about going premix but after doing a quick search I saw zino mention that the stock oil pump is good to go on mild/street builds. He mentioned being under 11k rpm, and I will too. The oil pump send oil directly into the crankcase thought doesn't it? What's that line for then? Do I really need it?

You might have to swap your intake for one with a nipple for the oil pipe.

You might have to swap your intake for one with a nipple for the oil pipe. There are two vacuum lines nipples in the carb. One I'd assume for petcock operation, and the other for oil then?

Yeah those 2 nipples on the engine side of the carb Are what you should be looking at the bigger one is for the vacuum for the pet petcot End the smaller or thinner nipple is for your oil line, Also you can Titan the cable that pulls on your oil pump to Essentially provide more fuel which is probably advised since you have a bigger cylinder and a bigger jet therefore more fuel is going in so you might as well have more oil too...

The intake and reed block for the Vino is different from the standard Minarelli. I have not seen an aftermarket intake that will fit the Vino.

Got it all sorted out and carb is in.
I found an adapter to be able to use the stock air box, that should help for tuning I hope.
Just gotta finish mounting up the choke lever. I thought I got a longer cable than I did, so Im mounting it kinda low, a little higher than my feet but not quite to my knees. After that I can test run it a few times and get the jets dialed in and hopefully get it all buttoned up. I missed out on most of the summer riding 😢
Any other tips, tricks, do's, or don'ts?
