what else should i upgrade when switching to 17.5

so i just got gifted a new 17.5 dellorto carb, and i am wondering if i should upgrade something so the upgrade isnt useless i am thinking

Just upgrading the carburetor on a stock motor doesn't do anything. The exhaust prevents it from breathing any better than it already does. First you upgrade the pipe, then the carb, not the other way around. Therefor i'd look for an exhaust upgrade to go along with that nice 17.5mm you've already got. You can go with oem looking aftermarket pipe like the Malossi Wild Lion or step up your game to an expansion chamber like the Yasuni R.
