Daughter contacted me that I am going to be Santa at a kid's thing in Longwood and also said to the Manager I would do puppets as well. So whilst getting over Man Flu I am sorting out the cast. Jessica and Chestnut show is fairly sorted but a few new Pelham Puppets Marionettes have been added so check them out for soundness Soon. Hansel and Gretal is a new one so need make a bit of scenery but had the Pelham Puppets Marionettes already just got check strings etc ok Also Little Red Riding Hood is another added show so will need checking also. Busy time's ahead. Better than working on nasty scooters in this time of the year. 😊      |

Isn't it great to be 'volunteered' for things, at least you know you are loved milly .
You have a small fortune tied up in puppets, and another in scenery, and equipment, etc.

At 04.30 this morning I decided to take today off work and get on with stuff. No such luck, son in law phoned up as car wouldn't start took me an age to hunt out my jump leads. Took it to his mechanic and it's got a parasitic drain of 4.8 amps and apparently his type of car ( think it's a insignia whatever makes that is)can cost silly money to repair with all the modules in it tracing the problem as no faults come up on the computer. Then daughter all of a sudden said "Daddy can you".... So off I go up to Longwood to drop off Halloween stuff for the kids or scouts party and she met up with a friend of mine who is the manager up there. 2 hours later she came away with a job making scientific reports so they can get SSSI Certificate (Site of Special Scientific Interest which opens the door to more funding once she's done the study whatever entomologist's do with bug counting. Well done for Beth passing her PhD a few months ago. She was due to go to the Job Centre recently as part of being unemployed shortly and part of what they are required to do is learn to write for a interview even if they know you are quite capable. I did have fun on the forestry with thrashing around the tracks doing handbrake turns and ragging the car till we popped in to see her mum and I got grassed up 😱   |

A real mechanic could trace down that drain the old fashioned way with an ammeter. Son should get his own jumper cables, or you could get new ones and pass old set down... Congrats on the daughter's job  F- on getting grassed up. |
