Hi.
I was wondering what type of CDI the scooters Kisbee and Vivacity have, the former is a 4T and the latter a 2T.
I know I can open up and look at the stator, but want to avoid doing that.

I’m no electrician but given it’s design, a stator can only produce AC voltage which the regulator converts to DC.

I'm no electrician either, but from what I gather, the flywheel powers the CDI directly when it is an AC CDI, and when it's a DC CDI, the power comes from the battery.
And if you take the flywheel off, one of the stator arms is covered in some paper if it is AC CDI.
And, if you disconnect the battery while the scooter is running, if it keeps running, that means it is an AC powered CDI, so I can use that to figure out which CDI to order.
