Does the pump need to be primed after disconnecting the oil supply line and if so how do you do it.
Also, the cable adjustment. Do I just remove all the slack in the cable or leave a little tiny bit?
Thanks

Never mind. I found stepthrurunner's guide using the search feature: There is an air bled screw which seems to be horizontal from the pictures in an 02-05 shop manual. It seems to be above the pump output on or near the flange at the outer end of the pump assembly. The procedure is to remove the screw and allow oil to emerge until until all air bubbles cease to come out. Replace screw making sure the gasket under the head is in good shape. Run the engine at 2000 rpm for 2-3 minutes to further purge the line.
