Wouldnt be wiser to run 12 volts to the electric choke while rejetting? Knowing it takes a few minutes it to open all the way. Give you a more true plug reading.

Well, you should always warm it up well for the first pass. If you swap jets pretty quickly, the enricher should be hot enough that it's still extended. I've got 12V with a switch running to one of mine. It's not really for that reason to begin with, but it is kinda nice to leave it one while swapping jets to be sure the enricher is warm.
