Found that clip at Scooter-attack, they knew about the vid since 04 and just now got a copy for their site. The Japanese said they were experimenting and 'removed the stops' in the cvt system. From what i get out of that, they let the belt travel down the rear pulley too much with mods like we have done, discussed etc. and the pulley half got pushed against the clutch hard and she Cerblowed up lol ! uuhh, thats too much dude . They were hiding behind a piece of plywood while testing. lol, Like that would really help if the metal went their way. Im sure glad they tested the 'limit' for us Hate to think of what a leg or arm would look like

The metal failed due to centripetal force and being out of balance. AMAZING! RAW MINARELLI POWER! ;D I wonder if the gearbox input shaft bearing survived? Prolly not. Maybe that's what failed in the first place and that caused the rest of the failure. That thing was clearly rippin' some major RPM's. I've heard that it's not good to rev a scoot on the center stand because there's no load on the tranny so it can blow. Thanks for that!
