Your fastest kits are single ring aluminum kits, your longest life kits are 2 ring iron cylinder kits (and a bit cheaper).
For an everyday driver I *think* you will find a 2 ring iron kit just fine.

Other points are:
Aluminum cyls. (especially air cooled) are less prone to soft seizing.
Aluminum cyls. can be run harder sooner after a cold start with less risk of snagging a ring or soft seizing.
EDIT:
If an aluminum cyl. does seize the cyl. is more likely to be trashed out than a steel cylinder.

Very true...installed 3 air sal aluminum kits for peeps...first soft seize...they were done....scored badly! Ebay cheapie steal kit 2 ring piston....the guy soft seized 3 times not premixing properly...and it looked fine...and runs like a champ now...

While the aluminum cylinders aren't as likely to seize, they are more likely to put a hole in the piston if they run lean. Soft seizing an iron bore isn't necessarily a bad thing, in the respect that it's a warning you don't get with aluminum. Obviously it's best not to seize one period, but a soft-seize doesn't always result in much damage at all. Not like melting a piston. When I melted my Airsal's piston the aluminum from the piston managed to get onto the cylinder walls enough to screw up the bore. One lean spot going down a hill at low throttle and the whole cylinder and piston was done. Iron is easier to work with should damage occur. Aluminum cylinders are coated/plated and if that gets ruined they would have to be re-coated. That can cost more than the cylinder did new. An iron cylinder can often be honed.

plus an iron cylinder can be rebored and oversize pistons fitted. not so much an issue with a stock 50cc cylinder as they are dirt cheap new, but if you have invested in a bbk and took time to port it etc, it's a pain starting again and having to buy another.
with a lot of ally cylinders they dont have a liner but instead run a sacrificial piston, meaning the piston is designed to wear at a faster rate than the cylinder plating. not a problem if you are handy with the tools and dont mind a top end rebuild now & then, but some iron pots are good for 10 - 20,ooo miles if luck is on your side!

It's a sport level kit. Comparable to Polini or Malossi sport kits. Expect a nice increase in power throughout, but not a dramatic increase in high RPM performance.

the street race is a good kit i like a lot of the stage 6 stuff
the advantage that the top performance brand has is they are the high performance division of motri minerllie the people who desinged the engine
stage 6 is a lot of rebranded stuff take there al bores they are rebranded athena bores im not positive but i thought the cast iron street race might be a malossi bore rebranded
