Fuel filter blocked? Fuel tap (petcock) diaphragm bust or vac line perished?

:welcome2:
I'm thinking fuel delivery like vvtr first. Sounds like possibly it's having a hard time supplying fuel for anything much over idle. If you're hard on it when it's doing this, then maybe it's too small of a main jet causing a soft seize.

Well to start off I love this form and thanks for the advice it was a fuel problem the vac switch after fuel filter I guess it is a vac operated fuel cut off was to blame by pasted it and im running faster than before and I have full throttle again but think that I might need to tune the carb but im going to mess with some more later.. Thanks sincery grandman84

Try running it with the gas cap loose. the vent in the gas cap may be restricted. If it still does the same thing do what vvtr says.

on mine its now got an ordinary on/off tap instead of the vacuum valve. pain in the arse they are.
on eastern scoots, you will probaly notice the rubber tubing is very poor and doesnt last long, including the fuel & vacuum pipe. if its more than a few years old you might want to change it for new, better quality hose.
