:scoot: i will soon be getting a e-ton beamer matrix 2 stroke. it only has 200 miles on it. the guy i am purchasing it from said he cut the rev limiter from the ecu. it also has a racing clutch and a kevlar belt. and he replaced the 8g stock rollers with 6g rollers. i have a vino that is not runnig. but on it i have a exhaust. cluth, bell housing, variator, rollers, hi flow filter. and jet in the stock carb, is any of that compatable with the beamer? and im looking into getting reeds. would they b worth it? also should i rejet the carb? and is the a governor on the carb? ive read the have a plate that restricts the air

Those Beamers are notorious for electrical problems. Yep. Mine has re-occurring issues. Fortunately its as simple as pulling the tub bucket and cleaning corrosion off the cdi plugs occasionally. Still, a PIA. :banghead:

yamaha runs a tk carb so nothing from the carb will work heck im suprised you got an oe yamaha carb to work right with an open filter as youc ant get pilot jets or a needle with the right taper the vino should have a 2 shoe 105 mm cltuch in it i dont know if the eton runs a 105 or a 107 but if you change both it should work

:welcome2:
Pipe just might work too. Even though they are both minarelli engines they do have some different layouts for pipe designs so it may or may not bolt up just right. The variator should work. I believe both the Beamer and Vino use the small spline crank.

I doubt I will try the variator. More curious bout the reeds and jet. And I was mistakin it isn't the matrix. Its just the regular beamer.do they still have the electrical problems? I also have a "racing" coil/ignition that's was off the vino should it work?
