a mate over on one of the uk sites posted this up - wondering if you have seen any more like this awesome imo but not too sure about the practicality of running such low ground clearance!

Honestly, the only one I really like is the one below. Not a huge fan of it, but it's kinda cool. I respect the work that goes into them. I like that people make them what they want them to be. Just not my style. Severely stretched scooters look weird to me. It looks like the engine/rear wheel is no longer a part of the scooter. The one below actually keeps the wheel tucked up in the body. I really like the paint work and wheels on the red and white one. Nice and clean, but again it's towing it's engine around. For me the ideal mods would be more like solid black paint and seat with tinted lenses. Nice wheels. Maybe lower it if it doesn't affect driveability. Of course engine mods. ;D I'm sure that would bore the folks that like the wild styling though.

What make/model is the red and white one? I like the styling of that body. Seen a bunch on Jap sites, still have no clue what it is.

Do any of those customs have air conditioning? Considering the practicality of 'em I think it would be a good idea. They're cool to look at and are beautiful show pieces but I doubt I'd want to own one.

I find myself leaning towards an off-road kind of scoot. Attachments:

they are using air ride i bet , so when they park they hit a button and the bike sits down low and then when they get ready to ride they hit it again and the bike lifts up... i could be wrong but that's my guess

These have been big in Japan for a few years now. I like them as a show piece but would not want to own one.

I like them in the same way I thought Vans were cool in the 70's. dont like that stretched out stuff though . . . I think my Burgman would be cool with some crazy pipeage and paint, a wing or two, but it would have to remain functional. Those big scoots are sooooo comfortable, it sort of makes sense to enhance the lay-back aspect of them.
