I have a zip clone. The seat latch keeps failing. I don't slam the seat down. I'm a big guy so maybe my weight is the issue? Is this common?
Thanks

I have latch trouble on all of my scoots. T1's seat is stuck right now after a test ride today. I assumed it was because I'm a fatass, but I dunno. :dunno: It's common for me at least.

I'm gonna have to do some measuring to see what the issue is. Maybe some rubber bumper pads on the underside of the rear part of the seat for support will stop the latch from bending.

Upon further investigation I have concluded that the engineers didn't include fat fucks like myself in their equations.

I know you guys prolly already know this, but on my Eton, there is one screw that is shorter then the others that has to go on on the latch side of the back tub/body bolt holes. If you use a long one, the extra threads bump into the mechanism and make the latch inoperable.

I think mine has some rubber bumper pads on it? I know Skeedr does.
