How do I know if my cdi is restricted?? I have read to cut the pink wire on it if it is, any ideas on this one?  |

Just order a new one on ebay they have tons on there and there are some posts on here about which ones are the best ..... i got one on ebay with no rev limit and a coil for like $25 shipped to the door.

there is no wire to cut on a 4 stroke. they are rarely restricted but stock ones have a pretty flat timing advance.
