un-mothballed the scoot today and remembered all about the wind chill formula. 40 mph X 42 deg. f. / amount of clothing in sq. ft. = FREEKIN COLD!!!!!! hope it warms up soon.

thank god for windshields huh? my legs get cold though Yea, they sure do help.. I haven't had much trouble with my legs. But we have been getting some really high winds, 20 to 30 mph gust.. Makes for a wild ride on a 220 pound bike..

I rode all of the last winter. Bundled up like crazy, out till 2AM, just riding for no reason but fun/sanity. Rode in the teens for an hour at a time. I think I rode something like 70miles one night in the 20s. Coming home feeling like I could cry from my fingers hurting so bad, but not really caring enough not to do it over and over. This winter I've had pretty much no desire to be out in it. I ride mostly at night and it's way colder without the sun helping out. I've rode off and on, but once it got deep into the 30s at night I slowed my riding A LOT.
I miss the warm nights, around 70-80 degrees. I was riding 50-100 miles a night at one point then. 1,600 miles one week.
