Definitely get a kit with a head. I'd leave the air filter alone, just keep the stocker. Besides, if you go with a 70cc kit and tune the carb and possibly CVT to suit the new power, it'll look and sound pretty much stock. You can really piss off your bro in law when he can't see/hear anything done to it. lol If you're going with a BBK you could wait on reassembly of the cases and port match the transfer and boost tunnels to the new cylinder. Usually doesn't make much difference, but it doesn't hurt either if you don't mind spending the time on it. More of a thing to do if you enjoy tuning and working on it. Pics below show a ported 90cc cylinder on what used to be a 50cc case, so you wouldn't see that much of a difference, might match up pretty well as-is?, but I think it shows what I'm talking about.
