Looks great. Not much cooler than a clean black scoot. ;D Congrats on getting it back. Legacy looks good too.
Thank you, I love the Legacy. I'm a guy that likes things easy. I've done the hard way on everything in life and learned only a certain few things are enjoyable to fight for. The rest are just pissing away effort that could be used elsewhere. One of those things are riding scoots/bikes. I do it for fun and it's a lot more fun if I don't have to work too hard at it and it doesn't cost me 4 years of savings.
The Legacy is obviously 100% full auto so it is easy to drive. +1.
It can be insured as a scooter so instead of $265 a year it $26 a year. +2
It is zero maintenance compared to a full on motorcycle. Legacy/V5 owners report 12,000 to 15,000 miles on just oil changes. Beyond that who knows. They are only a few years old and nobody has wrote about it past that. A "real" hardcore bike would have already had valve adjustments, carb adjustments, and several other high maintenance issues. +3
It has a RETAIL price of $3299 and is commonly found for $2699 new from several vendors. This thing comes with a 2 year wty!! +4
The radio/mp3 operates off of any run of the mill CF ram stick so you need no interfaces at all to play MP3's. Just plug and go. No special iPod integration or proprietary software that only works with one thing so no DRM restrictions. +5
It gets 61 mpg and runs 65 mph with no strain, so works as an only vehicle with no restrictions. +6
Look at it...... need I say more? +7
It's 250cc and has a lot of room to shed weight and increase power with MRP racing parts so it can really be potent to mod. +8
I can do this all night, but the bottom line is I like things easy and this Qlink Legacy 250 (aka CF Moto V5) is just as easy as it gets. No expensive 2 stroke oil (it's cheaper to operate than my 50cc Geely and better on gas!), cheapest insurance on the planet, proven longevity, awesome sound system, I mean the list never ends. It's just EASY to own and personally I think everyone should have one.
