How many miles do you have on your original engine

Scootie officially rolled 2k kilometers today.

This is about a customers scoot not mine but it sorta counts since its in my garage waiting on parts. Its a 2003 Kymco Super 9 L/C with 39877 kilo's on the odometer. Its now waiting on this new topend to come in from Racing Planet.

along with a new belt. My customers pretty excited about it, and I'm a little jealous of this thing. Its the first L/C I've worked on and its pretty nice. I was trying to talk him into a 70cc kit but he's wanting to keep it stock for now.

got 4100miles on mines b4 i did a 82cc bbk...when i pulled it apart the piston an cylinder wall had no scores or unusual scratches, could have put another 4k on it!!!!!

I just purchased a adley cougar 50cc 2t (her chee) with 21000 kms on it and the guy had just put a new piston and rings to sell it.

He said it was the first time the engine was worked on.Pleas note i am in Australia so thats kilometres.

Marshin Viper with 139QMB no mods to the motor just TLC and it has 12,849 miles on it. No noises and purrs like a kitten.

I had 16,000+ KM (~10,000 miles) on mine before I put a BBK in it. She still ran fine, I just felt it ws time for more power. Odometer at time of rebuild;


Still have the same bottom end components and I have always used the same Bel-Ray Si-7 two stoke oil.
