Taking Apart A Torque DriverYou will need to start by removing the rear pulley and clutch assembly front he transmission and then removing the clutch and torque spring from the assembly. If you need instructions to do that, check out these pages from my tech section : Clutch Removal/Dissassembly Info And VideoEngine/Transmission DissassemblyOnce you have the rear pulley separated from the rest of the assembly, you can begin by removing the seal using a small screwdriver or pick. Now, gently pry this sleeve up and off. Remove the 2 pegs from their tracks. I just turned mine over and they fell out. Now you should be able to separate the torque driver from the other half. of the pulley Turn the torque driver over and remove the seal from that side. Clean all of the old grease and dirt out while everything is apart, then apply fresh grease to the torque driver and the pulley's shaft and reinstall the rear seal. Slide the torque driver over the rear pulley's shaft, and clean up any excess grease that is pushed out. Align the tracks on the torque driver with the holes in the shaft and insert the pegs. Reinstall the sleeve. Insert the seal and clean up any excess grease.
