190psi on one of my 83cc bikes and turns over and cranks fine with a 90cca batttery but thats with 2 thick hoca base gaskets. its has done 4500 miles so far and is a good reliable cranks-every-time 50mph bike. the other has one standard base gasket with a 14ah 190cca battery and it wont crank for shit....i have to nearly jump onto the kick starter to crank it but it runs about 60 mph once its running lol

you cannot use anything other than metal for the head gasket. my heads are 50mm stock valve. high compression comes from the smaller combustion chamber of the stock head...and sometimes its too high for these pitiful little starters even with a matched head. you are now to the point where a compression gauge is needed. does it start ok?

ok!! is starts with the electric starter it does have a hard time on the compression stoke but it starts idles fine rev's to the 7500-7900rpm but i can tell it has a hard time getting there. is that signs of high compression? i ordered a compression tester cause i had the hardest time finding a 10mm spark plug thread.. i'll post the numbers soon.....
