Remove the filler and drain plugs and place a catch pan under the drain hole. It may take a few minutes for all the old fluid to come out.
Replace the drain plug and fill with 100ml of gear oil as it says on my CVT cover. I use Mobil 1 synthetic 75W90. Royal Purple makes good synthetic gear oil as well. Some people prefer standard gear oil, which is also fine. Even a 10W40 motor oil is acceptable.

I use a good quality 90wt gear oil in my scoot. I change it every 2000 to 3000 miles. I get it in a bottle with a pointed spout so it's easy to get it into the fill hole. I just insert the spout and squeeze. It holds 110 milliliters which equals about a 1/2 cup. Filling it to the level of the fill hole with the scoot sitting straight up on the center stand is the method the pros use. No measuring. 8) One bottle will fill the gear box 6 or 7 times easy.
They make little pumps for gear oil bottles too. Whatever's clever!
