no spark usually means a bad CDI....other things it could be but the CDI is the most likely one.

First thing to do is check your kill switch. Make sure it's set to run. I'm sure that sounds obvious, but you'd prob be surprised how many no spark threads I've seen solved by this. Next, alarm. If your scoot has an alarm, be sure it's disabled because most kill the ignition when activated.
The CDI can't really be tested that I know of without specialty equipment (usually just buy another or swap in a known good one from a friend's scoot), so you might wanna do some other things you can check before the CDI. You can have a look at the air gap between the flywheel's reluctor (that raised bit) and the pickup. Should be about .010". If that gets too wide it'll loose spark. You can just adjust the pickup coil if that's all it is. Not real common, but it's a free fix so worth checking. Check all connections to the coil and stator. Check the spark plug wire and boot to be sure they're secure. If you download a service manual for your scoot or for the 139QMB it will give you specs and procedures to test the stator and coil.

I always check my coils first because on mine they always lose the metal piece inside or get wore out, there is a piece you can tighten up with a flat head and make sure everything is tight on your coil from tip to tip. I have replace my coil three times in the last year and half those cheap hp coil that you can buy on every online shop, are not very reliable

I've had good luck with my aftermarket coils, one's probably 4-5 years old by now with no issues. The other's got prob 10,000 miles on it without issue. That said, I've heard others say the stock stuff tends to be more reliable. I replace the spark plug boots on mine with NGK boots. They go bad (get loose) from time to time, but they deal with a lot of vibration and they're only a few bucks.

I did just finish with a bbk, and before I had an aftermarket cdi on the 49cc. But I was thinking coil, I just want to see my bbk run.

Since you just finished working on it, definitely make sure you didn't disconnect something or forget to hook anything up or hit the pickup and change the air gap.

Figured it out!!! It turns out it was a timing issue and my rockers were loose, so I just popped my valve cover off and retimed it. But thanks a lot for all the help!!!
