Took off from my house and went up a hill and down the other side. Coming to the stop sign it bogged and died out. Wouldn't restart and was obvious something happened so I didn't bother trying too much. The last few days it has been sporadically slow. I knew something was about to happen. Turns out the ignitor tip on the plug unscrewed itself. and the boot fell completely off the plug. I didn't even know it screwed it, learned something today. Not only can you have a loose connection to the plug, but the tip itself can be unscrewed in the boot. For anyone experiencing sporadic gremlins you can't seem to find relating to running issues, might be worth it to pull your plug boot and make sure the screw it tight! Mine has clearly been loose for a while given the issues I've noticed with it's performance coming and going.

When that piece unscrewed, you may have lost a little resister that sometimes goes in there.
