I am working on a deal on a Peace Rabbitt. It has a big basket on front with a big platform behind the solo seat. It rides on 12 inch tires and it has a larger frame than other 50s that I have seen. Please, any and all opinions will be greatly appreciated as I think it would be a great scooter for my needs. My 150 is getting old and worn and my wife says I deserve a new scooter. Who am I to argue with her?

There's quite a power/speed difference in a 150 and a 50. That would be my main concern if this is to replace the 150.

Thanks, I realize there is a big power difference and thats the only reason I didn't jump on it at first. I spoke to an owner and she said she hit 47 mph on the digital speedo. I know speedos read fast but I hope its a secret 63 and can cope with 38-40 mph for up to a mile or two after an Iridium spark plug, good oil and lines and a fine tune to the CVT. The rest is 25-30 mph. Its all flat here so hills are not a problem for me and I'm retired and use my scooter for most errands. The rabbitt will let me carry more with its basket and platform and I can't afford the 150 version at about $1,500 more. The dealer will have one in in a few days and I will give it a good look over and if its a 63 and if I can get it for $1,100 OTD I think I will go for it. I have seen them advertised for up to $1,295.

Thank you, I am aware of that too. It was in mph and I can count on it reading fast. Please tell, how can you tell if its a secret 72 and what scooters have them? I am no stranger to low displacement two wheelers. I still have a 1970 Honda SL 90 awaiting its new Lifan 90cc engine. I have been way to busy with our house remoldeling to complete the project but its in my shop waiting for my full attention.
