need help removing kick start cover

Hey guys i am trying to take the belt cover (kick start cover) off of my scooter. I took all the screws out and it wont come off. It feels like there is something else holding it on from the inside. Has any one ever taken one of these apart??? i really need some help on this if any one can point me in the right direction that would be great!

Heres the scooter info

2006 MT50QT-2
Engine reads - MT139QMB
The scooter has 12'' rims
The belt cover says RSM on it
my vin # is LXKTCB0266M860285
It was sold by Red Streak Motors

You sure you got the bolt in the very center of the cover? Sorry if that seems like a dumb suggestion, but I've seen people miss that one because it's behind the kick start lever and they don't notice it.

If the cover has never been off before, you may wanna give it some light taps with a mallet to kinda "break the seal".

a 4 stroke doesnt have that bolt in the center. anyway there is a place you can use a prybar back by the shock but be gentle.

Whack the cover with a rubber hammer on the back to break the seal. If the gasket rips it's no biggie. Just peel off any loose pieces and install the cover back on there. It'll be fine. You do not have to remove the kick lever on a 50cc 139QMB to get the cover off.
