It seems to be pretty much like (if not the same as) the Hoca 54mm I tried on Project 90. I have only installed it for the test linked to below, so that's the best info I can give you. Let this load the pics and it'll take you to the right spot... 49ccscoot.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=yamajog&thread=1712&page=2#29871For pipes I'd say a LV ZX or Phongeer prob. 190mech makes Peace Pipes that create amazing power, but they tend to be quite loud for a street scoot.

I *suspect* that you are running out of cases, or put a bit differently: the stock engine cases are becoming the limiting factor, more than the cylinder at this point. I am not saying you will see no benefit from this cylinder, but the gains to be had are really limited on the stock cases, and your time might be better spent on those cases.

once i get my self a place with a proper garage with will become my shop i will get a little more out of those cases with a port match , but till then ill have to live with the stock cases. 90GTVert , i read your build a while ago and forgot about the 54mm cylinder, and it does look very similar, ill know more once i get it. i do have a LV SP3 laying around that i got with a lot of parts in a package deal but i think it might not produce enough rpm.

SP3 prob won't be ideal, but it should be better than stock.

i did a quick port map and some measurments and it is the same cylinder as your project 90.

How about a Polliini ?

unless you get the corsa expect to have to do some port work on it to get high revs out of the polini kit
but there is a port map of the corsa kit and the think the sport kit in the port map section
and even the corsa needs to have some exhaust work as the port is undersized

I heard about a guy who used JBWeld to make the ports smaller in order to have more compression

why would you stuff the ports you stuff the case to increase primary compresion

I've seen people reshape an intake manifold for example with JB Weld or cases as jmk pointed out. I would not advise trying to use it on a 2T's ports to alter port timing though.

Awesome. I was going to wait till I made a header pipe adapter for the kx 60 pipe before I installed it but I can always do that later. I'm excited to get I bolted on. What pipe you using ?

I'm using the hoca exhaust for right now. Its a nice exhaust. I've just contacted 190mech on here about his ferocious peace pipes he makes. 90gtvert said they were one the best performing exhaust he's ever tried. They are very loud though but that's what I'm looking for.
