I've always enjoyed just using the pump system, but I am having issues with seeping oil and inconsistent performance so I'd like to look at premixing as an option.
I have a stock 50cc carb on my 90 cc two stroke and run the oil pump as normal. I can figure the pump bypass out, but what about the jet? Leave it alone and just premix? I know on GT's project 90 he used the stock jet from a 50cc carb and he premixes so maybe just bypass the oil pump and go for it?

I have a stock motor and when I converted to pre-mix I removed my oil tank and then I took my oil pump off and removed the drive gear from the pump shaft and then I reinstalled the pump back into the engine to keep road grime out of a vital area. Then I plugged off the carb oil inlet with a 1 1/2 inch piece of the oil feed tube with a tiny screw in one end. 3800 miles later and it still runs like the day I bought it.
I mix my gas 4oz. per gallon which = 32:1 ratio
I'm sure that others will post their methods/results.

Most of the time people just remove it and never check jetting. The difference should be the same as the percent of oil you pre-mix. Say you mix 32:1 (basically 3%) then the jet size should increase 3% to stay the same. So if the stock jet is a 70, 3% increase means a 72.1. As long as your engine isn't running lean now, it should be fine with that much change. 49ccscoot.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=yamajog&action=display&thread=564

I just unhooked and premixed on mine.. Runs strong! Same scoot as yours pretty much ("cough", smaller engine though)

Thank you guys. I'll give it a whack. .....and LOL at all that work. I do believe I will just reach under there and put a coupler on the oil pump lines to loop them. Not just to be a slacker, but to make reversing it simple when I sell scootie at some point. (I have to admit he won't be here forever, but I'm going to TRY to keep him long as I can! Eventually he won't be worth fixing anymore.)

That's what you actually have, a 52mm bore. Not sure if that stroke is right or not. Same engine family. I'm guessing the 1E40... was stamped on there to pass customs or something.

Wait I have one more question.......lol. On my weedeater my pre-mix bottle needs shaking up so the oil comes out of the bottom. Isn't is possible for the oil to settle in the bottom of the tank, shoot through the fuel filter first when the engine starts leaving the upper portion of the gas left lean on oil?

So with that engine code it would need a tag on it right? How is it a 'cheater' if the true bore is stamped right on the motor? lol

Ummmm it's a "50cc" Geely qt50-16 with 40qmb stamped on the cvt and got Geely banned from importing for a while.
Is there a day you're not trolling?

you already said 'Engine stamp 1E52FM' and have even posted pics of the engine code but now you say ' with 40qmb stamped on the cvt' get your story straight pal.
1E52FM stamped on the case makes it a 'cheater' only in your own head
building a big bore motor with a true 50cc engine code is one thing....and a factory big bore TRUE 'cheater' motor stamped 139qmb etc but came from the factory with a 44 or 47mm bore is also different.....but thats not what you have...so stop acting like it and be honest. you are just choosing to ignore the law like 150cc no tag riders and i hope you get caught and charged with the full load. its people like you and the 150 tagless riders that are going to ruin things for everyone.

Damn you're stupid. You don't even know what a geely cheater is. ALSO since you keep editing your post lemme quote it for you. you already said 'Engine stamp 1E52FM' and have even posted pics of the engine code but now you say ' with 40qmb stamped on the cvt' get your story straight pal. 1E52FM stamped on the case makes it a 'cheater' only in your own head building a big bore motor with a true 50cc engine code is one thing....and a factory big bore TRUE 'cheater' motor stamped 139qmb etc but came from the factory with a 44 or 47mm bore is also different.....but thats not what you have...so stop acting like it and be honest. you are just choosing to ignore the law like 150cc no tag riders and i hope you get caught and charged with the full load. its people like you and the 150 tagless riders that are going to ruin things for everyone.
