brakes make ot go...?

Got a new one for the head-scratching...

On the way to work this morning, my 2008 eurospeed with a 139qmb with a long case started running like crap...this is not new as do.ding gas without crap in it around here is rough...but what's weird is, when I tapped the rear brake...it took off running full twist with no problem....till I came to a light...back to running horrible...tap the brake...vroom...WTH?

Also...is it heard of that a starter bendix gear wears out? The motor runs well...it just sounds like its not catching the bendix....any ideas?

oh yes the bendix wears out..its usually one of the first things to go. also check your variator, rollers and torque converter...i think you might find some serious wear.

yeah im thinking maybe i have a set of worn variator guides as well...i get a lurching effect at full go.

I'm thinking that maybe when I hit the brake, it puts pressure on the contra spring that is bound up, but, that's just a guess.
