263# 50? A lot of 150s don't even weigh that much. It might ride out good but I wouldn't expect much quickness in city traffic.

Benelli is now owned by the chinese so could be. Looks very like the Honda and Suzuki versions, which is no bad thing.

I rode one just like that, but a 150. So much difference in the ride with those big wheels. A friend and I went down a really bumpy back road with quite a few turns and swapped rides. My Triton felt pretty crappy on the bumpy turns after feeling how well his scoot handled it. The negative side is they feel so cumbersome after being used to small wheels. I'm used to just leaning and not having to counter steer to get quick response.

Hi Yes indeed larger diameter wheels and tires do make for a smoother and more stable ride, much like a motorcycle more then a scoot :wheelie: But then smaller wheels are more agile and nimble :scoot: Guess its just what you prefer to ride, and i do so love them all :thumb: Take care and ride safely dear friend Yours Hank

I happen to have a Benelli Andretti M50. When it's running right, I've pinned the speedo at 50, downhill of course(5'9", 152lbs.). :riding:

My Echarm with 16s is great until I go over 60 and scary at 75 . Now my Jonway with the same wheels and tires is stable at any speed beyond day and night difference . I rode a friends Rock Thunder from the dealership to his house for him and I liked it so much I ordered a blue one and bought a Jonway Magnum 2T 49cc to be a toy . The Magnum ha s130/60/13 tires and its more stable than the other two and easy to ride and very safe . The disc brakes F&R are Brembo quality

@ Inuyasha: Okay. Not a bad price, but that would be more than I want to spend, unless that price includes tax and tag. It looks like a nice scoot. I've always liked these Kymco People-looking scoots. There's a guy in Boca Raton that sells Tomos stuff. I've spoken to him a few times and I'm considering doing business with him (he has the 12" wheeled Tao Tao 50s for $1000 out the door, and is willing to do the 72cc BBK for me for an extra $280), but if he has this for a good price I may talk to him some more...
@ Skuttadawg: I've also got my eyes on two Jonways, both with front and rear discs. One is a 2T, the other is a 4T. The closer I get to purchase is the more confusing things get, and the more confused I become. I'll be buying in 2 weeks and because products are moving so fast there is just no guarantee that anybody will have the products they are currently displaying.
