Alright i just upgraded my gy6 scooter from 47mm to 50mm and the spark plug is pure black would that be from it burning oil or another issue. Also when i was adjusting valves i decided to rotate my cam 180 degrees to see what would happen ( line up the t mark and big hole on cam up top and the two on the side lined up with the head then took came off and rotated to the exact opposite big hole on the bottom two on the side lined up with the head and did not move the flywheel and put it all back together. well the scooter ran better my question should this be possible if so on my 47mm kit it was the other way for a year in half

Running too rich . A NGK iridium is less likely to foul out

If it's oil causing the fouling it should not only be black but have a lot of residue/gunk on the plug and you might see some blueish-gray smoke from the tailpipe. Oil has gotta come from somewhere too, so the oil level may noticeably drop over time.
The camshaft rotates 1 time per every 2 revolutions of the crankshaft and the ign should spart every time the crank rotates. So if you just flip it as described timing should be fine. Rotate it to where the cam holes line up with the head and you should see it lines up with TDC on the flywheel.

but the lobes will be 180 off. how can it run with the cam lobes 180 off but the crank still at tdc? think 4t bro TDC: 180 off: there is no way that could run right. if it could...why would there be 3 holes to line it up?

180 off.... on the intake stroke the exhaust valve would be open....and on the exhaust stroke the intake would be open.....if you put the pickup coil 180 off the motor would run backwards.
Sorry to be the one to call BS but there is no way it can 'run better' with the cam 180 off unless youre on BDC instead of TDC when you line it up.

i ran it like that for a week now and i just flipped it back today runs the same, my cam is alittle different then that, its like it is flat on both sides like the lobs are straight at the little holes, but i assure you that i have done it and it runs either way, i didnt think it was possible and that is why i made this post
