Hi all, I'm newb so just correct me with the jargon and stuff. I have a Benelle M50 Andretti 2009, with a QJ1E40QMB-4. Carb is a Leader PZ19JB 19mm. I am having problems with a cold start. Here are the symptoms.
Outside Temp Range. 40 - 65F
1. Usually cranks in 5 to 10 seconds, not sure what is normal here. 2. Sometimes it idles normally and I can let it warm up. 3. Sometimes it ebbs and flows between idle and fast during warm up. 4. Sometimes it idles really low and keeps going dead.
If I don't let it warm up, the first time I stop, when the distance is short, it just bogs down when you throttle it and eventually dies. After you get past this point it runs great. Acceleration is great, usually run 3/4 throttle to maintain 35mph. It seems to struggle going up steeper hills though. Not sure if this is a variater weight problem or some thing else. Anyway, with the idle/acceleration problem. Could it be a malfunctioning enrich valve or do the PZ19JB carb just do this? Is there a better fuel delivery system? Thanks for any input that you may have. Mike

I would replace the enricher since the problem is spotty it seems to be the enricher sometimes working and sometimes not.
