I was wondering if anyone was familiar with this kit? There are not too many topics about it on the minarelli forums. But I see a lot of hondas running them. I'm looking for the best stroker kit over 90cc for my 140qmb that's air cooled. I was considering the polini evo lc but it's too much work and I don't like the fact of running a radiator unless I can find a stealthy place to put it. Thanks in advance

Thanks for the link, but I was wondering if anyone had experience with using kit. Like what size carb and if they ran into any probs with this kit? Personally I'm kinda sketchy about this bore as it's cheaper than my polini 70

Thanks for the tip. Do you know of any other stroker or 90cc+ bores that are air cooled? Price is not an issue. Also do u know if I can keep the oil injection and starter with these bigger bores?

I have 2 Ruima cranks. 45mm. One's in the box, the other is in my scoot I call T1, 103cc. At least one of my current or past cylinders I know was or is Ruima. Honestly I don't pay much attention to brand for the 90cc cylinder kits. Most of them are pretty generic. I've ordered from multiple sellers and they're all basically the same thing. The Hoca kit from Parts For Scooters , which Autotech355 also sells under some other name now, is a little different. Lots of info on it in the Project 90 thread in the Tech Library. It's got auxiliary exhaust ports, where most iron bores are a more standard setup. The Polini Big Evo, 2FAST, Malossi etc... big cylinders aren't really comparable to the run of the mill iron AC stuff out there. Those are high end race kits that make big HP and cost big $. Airsal makes a 52mm, or at least they used to. I looked into that. From what Moped Hospital told me it's just a standard setup. I was hoping it was more like a big version of their T6 or something. If you know your way around a dremel and have some patience you can turn a cheap iron cylinder into something pretty beefy. There are a few of us here with avg iron 52-54mm cylinders that we've ported now seeing some pretty nice results.

Con grads and yes you need to tell what scooter you have to get more specific help . For most lighter rollers a larger main jet , idle jet if it had trouble idling , replace the fuel line with 1/4 automotive fuel line and the vacuum tubes and fuel filter , install a NGK iridium will help it run at its best . This is cheap and simple tricks . Now a unrestricted exhaust will help and require upjetting to avoid being lean . I like a 1157 LED in the tail light so that the headlight(s) is brighter . Premium gas and synthetic oil after its broken in . If rev limited an unlimited cdi can get more rpms but over revving can damage the engine if too much . Replace the belt with a Gates Powerlink since generic do not last long and break .

2strokd's 103 is a great example of what one of these basic iron kits is capable of in the right hands. ;D

2strokd - I'm kinda sad, but we won't be making it up to run our QMB against your beast 2t this year in the KOtH. Bummer.

I don't even make it up there to race and I'm sad the PFS crew can't make it. Hope you can in the future.
I'm sure your 103 would still do very well in a full dressed scoot Robert. My 103 is on a street scoot with a heavy rider and it's no slouch. Wouldn't keep with you and SkeedR by any means, but it does alright. I don't think it would be a big change to add a few pounds of street trimmings.
