Anything has got to be better than the standard 35w lights. With the projector head lights you have no dipping with them so you would have to fit one as high beam and one as dipped. Unless you do what Yamaha did on the R1 fit a motor to tilt it up and down.

Stronger light s may require a higher output stator . Simply using higher wattage bulbs can put out more heat and melt the housing . I think you can replace 35w/35w with a 40w/45w but not a 50 or 55 w . Replace the tail light with a 1157 LED the headlight(s) will be brighter like on mine .
My scooter dealer has a HID headlight kit and wow it looks neat and so bright . The blueish to while glares for me at night in heavy rain
I had a Harley come up from behind me and he added lights on the sides of his forks with a very bright and wide beam . So good I could have not had my headlight on and still see better with his than mine alone.
I am spoiled by my Echarm since the lights are battery powered instead of the stator so its always bright and a 12 pole stator keeps the battery charged
